Teacher Bio

I am originally from Spartanburg, SC.  My husband and I were married on the Big Island of Hawaii in 2003.  We lived in the Outer Banks of North Carolina until we moved to Pisgah Forest in 2005 to be closer to family.  

We have sixteen-year-old twin boys,  Judson and Cooper. Our Only daughter is furry with four paws.  Her name is Willow.  

Our family enjoys spending time at the lake during the summers fishing, wake boarding, tubing, wake surfing and just enjoying each other. In the fall, we enjoy campfires, hikes, and Clemson football!

My hobbies include running, reading, and being a wife and mother.  

I previously taught special education for seventeen years.  I am  now loving my adventure as a media specialist where my goal is to instill a genuine love of reading in our Ranger students!
